RESOLUTION No. 2014-244
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
HILDE PERFORMANCE CENTER PHASE 2) Ft VETERANS MEMORIAL (4001 1 )
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Hilde Performance Center (Phase 2) and Veterans
Memorial project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 12, 2014, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement; and

WHEREAS, Custom Builders is the low responsible bidder, complying with the project specifications and
bidder qualification criteria policy; and
WHEREAS, WSB & Associates (project consultant) and City staff recommends awarding the project to
Custom Builders; and
WHERAS, a public hearing was held informing residents that the project will be funded through the
Community Improvement Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that
the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Custom Builders of Cold
Spring, MN for the Hilde Performance Center (Phase 2) and Veterans Memorial project in the amount of $1,197,059.00.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the overall project cost is $1,480,000 and will be financed through the
Community Improvement Fund.
