RESOLUTION No. 2012-192
A RESOLUTION APPROVING 2012 TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City's Capital Improvement Plan allocates funding for annual
improvements to the City's trail system, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission reviewed the
proposed projects for possible work in 2012, and
WHEREAS, the identified trail gap projects include;
1) Northwest Boulevard from Heritage Park to Campus Drive (west side of the
roadway)
2) County Road 9 and Vicksburg Lane (missing sidewalk sections on the south
side of County Road 9 and east side of Vicksburg Lane), and
WHEREAS; the Director of Parks and Recreation concurs with this
recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the 2012 Trail
Improvement Projects on Northwest Boulevard from Heritage Park to Campus Drive and
the missing sidewalk sections on County Road 9 and Vicksburg Lane are authorized to be
constricted. Funding for the project will be taken from park dedication fiinds in the
amount of the engineers' estimate of $123,416 with the final cost not to exceed
$130,000.00.
