RESOLUTION No. 2012-185
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING FINANCIAL CONCEPTS, INC
AS THE CITY'S AGENT OF RECORDBENEFITS CONSULTANT
FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL INSURANCE
WHEREAS, the city seeks to provide employees with high quality, competitively priced
benefits, and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals was issued to evaluate consulting services for health
and dental insurance in the market; and
WHEREAS, Financial Concepts, Inc. is being recommended for appointment as the
city's agent of record/benefits consultant for health and dental insurance beginning January 1,
2013.
WHEREAS, the city will review the benefits consulting market every three to five years
to ensure that the City of Plymouth is receiving optimal benefits consulting services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it does hereby approve the appointment of
Financial Concepts as the city's agent of record/benefits consultant for health and dental
insurance effective January 1, 2013.
FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement.
