RESOLUTION No. 2012-175
AWARDING BID FOR THE PLYMOUTH CREEK FIELDHOUSE TURF REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on Monday, May 14, 2012, for the Plymouth
Creek Fieldhouse Turf Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, four bids were received and evaluated; and
WHEREAS, the apparent responsible low bidder is Cobalt Contracting, Inc. in the amount of
$419,700; and
WHEREAS, the city's consultant and staff are recommending approval of said bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the replacement of the Plymouth Creek
Fieldhouse Turf in the amount $419,700 by Cobalt Contracting, Inc. is hereby accepted; and fiirther,
that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign contracts to enter into an agreement with
Cobalt Contracting, Inc. for the replacement of the Plymouth Creek Fieldhouse Turf, and fiirther,
that the project will be charged to the Fieldhouse Fund and the Park Replacement Fund as identified
in the staff report.
