RESOLUTION No. 2014-200
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT
FOR THE PARKERS LAKE NORTH EDGE MILL
AND OVERLAY PROJECT (14015)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Parkers Lake North Edge Mill
and Overlay Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that GMH Asphalt Corporation out of Chaska, MN, is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to GMH
Asphalt Corporation out of Chaska, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the contract for the bid with GMH Asphalt Corporation out of Chaska,
MN, in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Parkers Lake North Edge Mill and Overlay
Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $388,370.32.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be
from special assessments ($329,993.89), from the Water Fund ($289,900.00), from the Water
Resources Fund ($38,976.38) and from the Street Replacement Fund ($116,532.87).
APPROVED this 10th day of June, 2014.
