RESOLUTION No. 2012-153
A RESOLUTION APPROVING HENNEPIN COUNTY
RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth provides recycling services pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes Section 473.388; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to provide
recycling services; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 115A and the Hennepin County grant agreement, the
City of Plymouth shall ensure Plymouth residents have the opportunity to recycle; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth understands it has a responsibility to provide information and
opportunities for residents and businesses so that they better understand ways they can take action to
protect the environment and reduce costs through waste reduction and recycling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Council hereby approves the Hennepin County
Residential Recycling Grant Agreement and authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to sign the
Agreement on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
