RESOLUTION No. 2014-168
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH WSB Fk ASSOCIATES
FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
FOR PEONY LANE NORTH OF SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD (100 15 )
WHEREAS, the Peony Lane / Lawndale Lane Extension project is listed in the 2014-2018
Capital Improvement Program at an estimated total cost of $12,800,000; and
WHEREAS, the city has an existing contract with WSB & Associates for professional
engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the existing contract did not contemplate construction services as an
optional service; and
WHEREAS, staff believes it to be in the best interest of the city to use WSB & Associates
for construction services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, the existing Supplemental Agreement for Professional Engineering
Services with WSB & Associates is hereby amended to include construction services for
$783,517.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from
the Municipal State Aid (MSA) Fund, MSA Fund advances, Utility Trunk Fund and City of Maple
G rove.
