RESOLUTION NO. 2012-072
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
RESOURCE PLANNING FUND EXPENDITURE
WHEREAS, the 2012 National Interdiction Conference named Desert Snow is scheduled
for March 12 through March 16, 2012; and
WHEREAS, four officers from the police department have been selected to attend to
bring back the knowledge and skills necessary to perform successful passenger and commercial
traffic interdictions to identify caches of narcotics and cash smuggled within our State and
communities; and
WHEREAS, costs associated with this training of $3,282 can be funded through the
existing resource planning fiend under the DEA line item; and
WHEREAS, the remaining amount left within this fund is currently $80,986.52; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA APPROVE STHE USE OF $3,282.00 FROM THE
RESOUCE PLANNING FUND FOR OFFICERS TO ATTEND THE 2012 NATIONAL INTERDICTION
CONFERENCE IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA.
