RESOLUTION NO. 2012-070
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2012 STREET SWEEPING PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 12012
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the Engineering Department for
the 2012 Street Sweeping Program in the City of Plymouth and said plans and specifications have been
presented to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the City Engineer's office and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The
Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published twice,
shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk
until 10:00 a.m. on March 20, 2012 at which time they will be publicly opened at the
Plymouth City Hall at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Plymouth for five percent
of the amount of such bid.
