HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2012-065CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2012-065 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT NO. 5 AND FINAL PARKERS LAKE STORM WATER LIFT STATION REHABILITATION CITY PROJECT NO. 10017 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Municipal Builders, Inc as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the Parkers Lake Storm Water Lift Station Rehabilitation, City Project No. 10017, said agreement was approved by the City Council on April 12th, 2011; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. That the original contract amount was $253,560.00, the amended contract amount was $292,411.00 and the value of work to date is $285,150.00 and is herewith approved. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Parkers Lake Storm Water Lift Station Rehabilitation and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 5 and Final in the amount of $21,530.70 to Municipal Builders, Inc. for the Parkers Lake Storm Water Lift Station Rehabilitation project is hereby approved and the City's Administrative Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. Funding for the total project cost of $347,843.82 will be from the Water Resources Fund. Approved this 28th day of February, 2012.
