RESOLUTION No. 201-052
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICY RELATING TO ACCEPTING
PRIVATE STREETS AND/OR UTILITIES INTO CITY SYSTEM AND APPROVING AGREEMENT
REGARDING TRANSFER OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN HOMEOWNER'S
ASSOCIATION AND CITY OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, the City does not have a policy for accepting private utilities into the
City's utility system; and
WHEREAS, the City has been requested to assume maintenance responsibility for
utilities in a private development; and
WHEREAS, the proposed policy for accepting private utilities into the City's
utility system can be combined with the City's Policy Relating to Accepting Private
Streets into City Street System; and
WHEREAS, the new policy would require the execution of two subsequent
agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: approving the Policy
Relating to Accepting Private Streets and/or Utilities into the City Utility System and
Agreement Regarding Transfer of Certain Improvements between Homeowner's
Association and City of Plymouth.
