RESOLUTION NO. 2004-538
RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF KEEPING THE
MISSION DETOX FACILITY OPEN AND OPERATIONAL
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Commissioners are considering a proposal for a new
Sobering Center in Minneapolis; and
WHEREAS, in order to fiend the new facility, the funding for the Mission Detox facility
in Plymouth would be cut causing it to close; and
WHEREAS, the closing of the facility would have a negative affect on Plymouth and
other suburban police departments when dealing with intoxicants,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the City Council adopt the Resolution in support of keeping the Mission Detox facility
open and operational.
Adopted by the City Council on December 28, 2004.
