HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-520CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-520 AWARDING BID VICKSBURG LANE PUMPING STATION CITY PROJECT NO. 3108 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Vicksburg Lane Pumping Station Project and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY BASE BID ALTERNATE NO. 1 Magney Constriction Inc. 2,584,682.00 8,787.00 Di -Mar Constriction 2,639,689.00 12,787.00 Lund -Martin Constriction Inc. 2,726,671.00 24,479.63 Knutson Constriction Services 2,842,755.00 30,586.00 Rice Lake Constriction Group 2,824,400.00 3,600.00 Graham Penn Co. 2,924,993.00 22,912.86 Thor Constriction 2,927,150.00 23,182.90 Ebert Constriction 2,949,760.65 21,523.74 WHEREAS, it appears that Magney Constriction Inc. of Chanhassen, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Magney Constriction Inc. of Chanhassen, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Vicksburg Lane Pumping Station according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $2,575,895. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. 3. Total project fiinding will be from the Utility Trunk Fund in the amount of $2,962,300. Adopted by the City Council on December 14, 2004.
