RESOLUTION NO. 2004-513
APPROVAL OF INSTITUTION COMM[_]NITY
WORK CREW PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City's Park Department has a backlog of projects that would be
delayed or have difficulty in undertaking; and
WHEREAS, it would be economically advantageous to utilize the Institution
Community Work Crew Program to complete these backlog tasks; and
WHEREAS, this program has been well received by other communities and is
available through the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, as adequate fiinds are available within the 2003 and proposed 2004
and 2005 park maintenance budgets,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract amendment with the
Institutional Community Work Crew be awarded for services rendered in the amount of
$25,000 for the remainder of the 2005 contract and that the Mayor and City Manager be
authorized to sign it.
