APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT
AMENDMENT RELATED TO THE REGULATION OF EXTERIOR LIGHTING

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the text amendment at a duly called
Public Hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a Zoning Ordinance text amendment related to
the regulation of exterior lighting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a
Zoning Ordinance text amendment related to the regulation of exterior lighting, based
upon the following findings:
1. The amendments are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies
and plans.
2. The amendments meet the purpose and intent of the Ordinance.
