RESOLUTION NO. 2004-482
ACCEPTING DONATION OF A SHOTGUN
FROM A CITIZEN, RETAINING FOR CITY
EQUIPMENT AND DESIGNATING SUCH FOR
USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, on October 20, 2004, a Plymouth resident brought a Harrington &
Richardson single -shot .12 gauge shotgun to the Police Department for disposal; and
WHEREAS, the resident indicated he would like it very much if the department could
retain the weapon for use; and
WHEREAS, the weapon is identical to the one currently in use in one of the two CSO
vehicles and retaining it would allow for the same weapon to be available in each of the
vehicles,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the Resolution accepting the donation of
a shotgun as City equipment and designated such shotgun for use by the Police
Department.
Adopted by the City Council on November 23, 2004.
