Resolution 2004-475
APPROVING 2005-2009 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on October 6, 2004 on the proposed
2005-2009 Capital Improvement Program for the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed 2005-2009 Capital
Improvements Program conforms to the other chapters of the City's Comprehensive Plan, as
amended, and other planning documents; and
WHEREAS, at its October 26, 2004 meeting the City Council reviewed the CIP as recommended
by the Planning Commission, and adopted a resolution approving the CIP; and
WHEREAS, at its November 9, 2004 meeting the City Council reconsidered its action of
October 26;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that the
2005-2009 Capital Improvements Program is hereby approved as recommended by the Planning
Commission, with the following changes: the project to enhance a detention pond at Circle Park
for Parkers Lake shall be moved from 2009 to 2005; and the improvements to the intersection of
Vicksburg Lane and Shenandoah Lane as described in project S-14, scheduled for 2006 and
estimated to cost $232,000, shall be moved to become part of project S-2, Traffic Signals,
scheduled for 2005; and fiirther, that the project shall also include a segment of trail on the east
side of Vicksburg that is needed to relocate the pedestrian crossing located north of Shenandoah
Lane to the new signalized intersection, with that portion of the cost to be fiinded by the Park
Dedication Fund in the amount of $12,000.
