RESOLUTION NO. 2004-456
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
VICKSBURG LANE PUMPING STATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 3108
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the Vicksburg Lane Pumping Station
Improvement pursuant to a resolution passed on January 13, 2004, and designated
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc. as the engineer to prepare plans and
specifications for the Vicksburg Lane Pumping Station Improvements, a new 8,500
gallon per minute pumping station; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been completed for the Vicksburg Lane
Pumping Station; and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications are presented to the City Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City
Engineer's Office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 2:00 p.m. on
December 3, 2004 at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
