RESOLUTION NO. 2004-444
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD/VICKSBURG LANE
SIGNAL AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 3116
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Park Constriction Company, as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Schmidt Lake Road/Vicksburg Lane
Signal and Utility Improvements, City Project No. 3116, said agreement being dated
August 26, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $287,154.25. Three change orders
were approved in the amount of $13,289.72 and the value of the work to
date is $305,105.10 and is herewith approved. This project exceeds the
revised contract amount by $4,661.13.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Schmidt Lake
Road/Vicksburg Lane Signal and Utility Improvements Project and
certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is
hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the
performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $31,555.95 to Park
Constriction Company for Schmidt Lake Road/Vicksburg Lane Signal
and Utility Improvements Project is hereby approved and the City Finance
Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
