RESOLUTION NO. 2004-440
APPROVING ADOPT -A -STREET PROGRAM
WHEREAS, from time to time litter accumulates on some of the streets within the City of
Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, citizens and organizations are often seeking opportunities to perform
community service by cleaning litter from streets; and
WHEREAS, recognition of these efforts shows appreciation for citizen efforts,
encourages additional volunteerism and calls attention to the issue of litter,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY
COUNCIL that that City institute an Adopt -A -Street citizen volunteer program to remove
litter from certain identified roadways within the City of Plymouth.
Adopted by the City Council on October 26, 2004.
