APPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SRF CONSULTING
GROUP, INC. FOR VICKSBURG LANE IMPROVEMENTS
FROM 32ND AVENUE TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 55
CITY PROJECT NO. 4134
WHEREAS, the former Dana Spicer industrial site located in the southwest quadrant of Vicksburg
Lane and Think Highway 55 has been purchased by CSM Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a change in guiding for this site from PI (Planned
Industrial) to C (Commercial) and LA -4 (Living Area 4); and
WHEREAS, a traffic study was completed as required by SRF Consulting Group, Inc. recommending
specific public improvements on Vicksburg Lane from 32nd Avenue to Think Highway 55 necessary to
accommodate traffic generated from this proposed development; and
WHEREAS, SRF Consulting Group, Inc. has submitted a Professional Engineering Services Proposal
for preparing final plans and specifications and providing in -constriction services for the required
public improvements on Vicksburg Lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposal for Professional Engineering Services, Vicksburg
Lane/32nd Avenue to Trunk Highway 55 dated August 16, 2004 is approved in a total amount of
$110,304 which is a not -to -exceed amount without written approval; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is authorized to sign said agreement.
Funding for this project will be from Fund 479 in the amount of $110,304.
Adopted by the City Council on October 12, 2004.
