RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
2004 STREET RECONSTRUCTION
MISSION AREA / DEERHAVEN AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 4101
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on October 12, 2004 the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following
improvements:
• the area south of Bass Lake Road and west of Zachary Lane
including 57th Avenue, Deerwood Lane and Evergreen Lane, and
• the area west of Zachary Lane and south of Old Rockford Road
including 40t1' Avenue, 41" Avenue and the adjacent cul-de-sacs,
by the reconstruction of bituminous streets including concrete curb and gutter repair,
storm sewer repair, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of October, 2004 in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed
assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property
affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard
with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total
cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be
given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
