RESOLUTION 2004-412
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
5025 VICKSBURG LANE NORTH (2004108)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future
Restricted Development) to P -I (Public/Institutional) for 4.66 acres of land addressed as 5025
Vicksburg Lane North, legally described as follows:
Outlot H, Nanterre, Hennepin County, Minnesota
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from FRD
(Future Restricted Development) to P -I (Public/Institutional);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for
reclassification of the zoning from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to P -I
(Public/Institutional) for 4.66 acres of land address as 5025 Vicksburg Lane North, based on the
following findings:
1. The proposed rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and
plans.
2. The proposed development meets lot area and dimension requirements of the P -I zoning
district.
3. Adequate infrastructure is available to support the P -I zoning district and the facility proposed
for this site.

4. There is adequate buffer and transition between this district and the adjacent residential
neighborhoods.
