Resolution 2004-359
ENDORSING PLYMOUTH MAYOR JUDY JOHNSON FOR THE
PRESIDENCY OF THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES
WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities represents the interests of more than 800
Minnesota cities; and
WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities values effective advocacy, expert analysis,
trusted guidance, and collective action, thus creating a "One Minnesota"; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Judy Johnson is currently serving as First Vice President on the
Board of Directors and will be seeking office as President of the League of Minnesota
Cities; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Judy Johnson has served the City of Plymouth and the League of
Minnesota Cities as an innovative thinker, trusted leader, and strong advocate for
effective governance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plymouth City Council
enthusiastically supports and endorses Mayor Judy Johnson for the presidency of the
League of Minnesota Cities.
