RESOLUTION 2004-358
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING PRISM'S SECOND ANNUAL SLEEP OUT FOR
NATIONAL HUNGER AND HOMELESSNESS AWARENESS WEEK, NOVEMBER 13
THROUGH NOVEMBER 20
WHEREAS, PRISM has identified issues of high housing costs and hunger in our community;
and
WHEREAS, PRISM has scheduled an event where area residents will sleep outdoors to bring
attention to these issues and to raise funds for PRISM to use to address these issues locally, and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has supported PRISM in the past and the City's support of the
event is critical to bringing the community together to reach out to families in need; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth encourages local participation by local government officials,
employees, and interested residents,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Plymouth does
hereby officially support the PRISM SLEEP OUT FOR NATIONAL HUNGER AND
HOMELESSNESS AWARENESS WEEK, November 13 through November 20, 2004.
Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on September 13, 2004.
