RESOLUTION NO. 2004-350
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-869 TO
ALLOW PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF THE
SOUTH SIDE OF 34TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, additional parking is necessary near City Hall during the upcoming
constriction of the Public Safety Building and main entrance to City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the south side of 34th Avenue, east of the Post Office, could offer additional
on -street parking permanently; and
WHEREAS, the City's Engineering staff has reviewed the roadway width, 30 m.p.h.
speed limit, and sight distance on 34th Avenue and determined that it is a safe location for
on -street parking;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that Resolution No. 85-869 be amended to
allow 600 feet of on -street parking along the south side of 34th Avenue beginning 335
feet east of the Post Office's exit driveway.
