HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-343CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2004-343 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE OF FINISHED GOODS AND AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR PARKING FOR SKARNES, INC., LOCATED AT 2100 NIAGARA LANE NORTH. (2004091) WHEREAS, Skarnes Incorporated, is requesting approval of a conditional use permit and interim use permit to utilize an existing outdoor storage area for the storage of finished goods at 2100 Niagara Lane North., for property legally described as: The South 277.33 feet of Lot 13, Block 2, of Circle Star Business Center First Addition WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by the City of Plymouth, for a conditional use permit and interim user permit for property located at 2100 Niagara Lane North, subject to the following conditions: 1. A conditional use permit is approved for the outdoor storage of finished goods in an existing outdoor storage area in accordance with the plans received by the City on July 8, 2004, except as amended by this resolution. 2. An interim use permit is approved for reduced parking to allow the existing parking to serve the site where 42 parking spaces are required by the Ordinance, with the finding that all applicable interim use permit standards are met. Approval of the interim use permit is subject to the condition that the City may terminate the interim use permit if a parking shortage is observed on the site or if there is a documented parking problem. In such case, the applicant would be required to constrict additional parking spaces on the site. Resolution 2004-343 File No. 2004091 Page 2 ADOPTED by the City Council on August 24, 2004.
