HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-331CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-331 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF 27TH AVENUE BETWEEN ORLEANS LANE AND NATHAN LANE AS PLATTED IN MEDICINE LAKE PARK THIRD DIVISION WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for August 10, 2004 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of August 10, 2004; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 10, 2004 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of 27th Avenue in Medicine Lake Park Third Division Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said 27th Avenue right-of-way was not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following 27th Avenue right-of-way be vacated: All of 27th Avenue right-of-way lying east of the east right-of-way line extended of Orleans Lane and west of the west right-of-way line extended of Nathan Lane as dedicated within Medicine Lake Park Third Division. The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, certifies that I compared the foregoing resolution adopted at a meeting of the Plymouth City Council on August 10, 2004, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a correct transcription thereof.
