RESOLUTION NO. 2004-295
RESOLUTION REJECTING BID
MET COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL PARTNERSHIP GRANT
BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
CITY PROJECT NO. 4119E
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of the 2004 Met Council
Environmental Partnership Grant Best Management Practices and all necessary appurtenances,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:
COMPANY TOTAL BID
Mike's Lawn and Landscape $160,774.50
Sunram Construction $231,151.39
WHEREAS, it appears that Mike's Lawn and Landscape is the lowest bidder, complying with
the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, irregularities exist in the low bid; and
WHEREAS, the low bid is 69% over the City engineering estimate, and it is the recommendation
of the consulting engineer to reject all bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. All bids received are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
