RESOLUTION NO. 2004-294
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARTION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
BASS LAKE PLAYFIELD DRAINAGE WAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 3131
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed certain 2004-2008 Capital Improvements for
control of water and drainage problems within the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Bass Lake Playfield Drainageway Project was chosen ahead of other
similar sites because the erosion is threatening private property including strictures; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project will reduce erosion and protect the water quality of
Bass Lake; and
WHEREAS, two meetings with affected property owners have been held; and
WHEREAS, several concepts were investigated and Concept Number 5 was chosen as
the most effective, feasible and cost effective improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Improvement based on Concept Number 5 is hereby ordered.
2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc. is designated as engineer for
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for making such
improvements.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that fiinding for this project be from the Water Resources
Fund.
