RESOLUTION NO. 2004-292
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 7 AND FINAL
WELL NO. 14 DRILLING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 2027
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Keys Well Drilling, as contractor, have
entered into an agreement for Well No. 14 Drilling, City Project No. 2027, said
agreement being dated October 28, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $186,575.00. One change order
was approved in the amount of $43,405.00 and the value of the work to
date is $228,352.25 and is herewith approved. This project does not
exceed the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Well No. 14 Drilling
Improvements Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the engineer as
acceptable from the contract except as to the conditions of the
performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 7 and Final in the amount of $56,632.86 to Keys
Well Drilling for Well No. 14 Drilling Improvements Project is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed
to pay the same forthwith.
