HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-286CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-286 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID LIFT STATION TELEMETRY SYSTEM UPGRADE CITY PROJECT NO. 3119 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Lift Station Telemetry System Upgrade and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY TOTAL BID Instrument Control Systems, Inc. $292,299 Automatic Systems Company 295,000 Telemetry & Process Controls 439,955 In Control, Inc. 456,302 Wunderlich-Malec Environmental 478,147 C3I1ex, LLC 506,600 WHEREAS, it appears that Instrument Control Systems, Inc. of Plymouth, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Instrument Control Systems, Inc. of Plymouth, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for Lift Station Telemetry System Upgrade according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $292,299. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. 3. Funding will be from the Sewer Trunk Fund in the amount of $365,400. Adopted by the City Council on July 27, 2004.
