RESOLUTION No. 2012-044
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXPENDITURE FROM
THE RESOURCE PLANNING FUND FOR POLICE EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the police department is in need of upgrading its wireless
capabilities/technology; and
WHEREAS, the new technology will allow for faster transmissions in the field and will
provide for certain redundancy provisions;
WHEREAS, the city also has dedicated fiends available in the Resource Planning Fund,
(DEA Reserve) for this type of purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the police department be authorized to utilize
money from the Resource Planning Fund to purchase a new Windows server and Netmotion
server license.
