HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-248CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-248 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN LOT 29, BLOCK 3, THE FIELDS OF NANTERRE WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 22, 2004 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of June 22, 2004; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 22, 2004 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the drainage and utility easement within Lot 29, Block 3, The Fields of Nanterre Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easement be vacated: Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 29, Block 3, THE FIELDS OF NANTERRE; thence southeasterly to a point on the south line of said Lot 3, seven feet easterly of the southwest corner of said lot and there terminating.
