RESOLUTION No. 2012-042
A RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE
2012 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, CIRCLE PARK
CITY PROJECT NO. 12001
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on January 24, 2012, the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvement including
Shenandoah Lane N, south of County Road 6, 9t1' Avenue N, from Shenandoah Lane N to
Kingsview Lane N, including Minnesota Lane N, Niagara Lane N from Gleason Lake Drive to
9th Avenue, Lanewood Lane N from Gleason Lake Drive to 9th Avenue, and Juneau Lane N from
Gleason Lake Drive to 4t1' Avenue N by reconstruction of streets with the installation of
bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter installation, storm sewer installation, water main
valve installation, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 10th day of April, 2012, in the City Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time
and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be
given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The
Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel
described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing.
