HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-222CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2004-222 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 2004 STREET RECONSTRUCTION BURL OAKS AND KINGSVIEW AREAS CITY PROJECT NO. 4102 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on June 8, 2004 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Kingsview Lane and 4th Avenue, north of Gleason Lake Road (Kingsview area); and east of County Road 101 and north of the Luce Line Trail, including 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, Kimberly Lane, and the adjacent cul-de- sacs (Burl Oaks area). by the reconstruction of bituminous streets including new concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer in the Kingsview area, concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer repair in the Burl Oaks area, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of June 2004 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. Adopted by the City Council on June 8, 2004.
