RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -221
AUTHORIZE THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
DESIGNATING SRF CONSULTING GROUP AS CONSULTANT FOR
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES
2004 BITUMINOUS MILL AND OVERLAY
CARLSON PARKWAY/CHESHIRE LANE/SUNSET TRAIL
CITY PROJECT NO. 4115
WHEREAS, the 2004 Mill and Overlay Project is included in the 2004 Capital Improvements
Program (CIP) at an estimated total cost of $610,000; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications for the
2004 Mill and Overlay Project which includes Carlson Parkway, Cheshire Lane and Sunset Trail;
and
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal dated May 14, 2004, to provide design and
constriction engineering services for the 2004 Mill and Overlay Project Improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the 2004 Mill and Overlay Improvement, Carlson
Parkway/Cheshire Lane/Sunset Trail, City Project No. 4115, is authorized and SRF Consulting
Group, Inc. is designated as the engineer to prepare final design plans and specifications and
provide constriction engineering services in accordance with their proposal dated May 14, 2004.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That fiinding in the amount of $610,000 is provided from the
Street Replacement Fund.
