APPROVE MASTER UTILITY AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
AGREEMENT NO. 86295
CITY PROJECT NO. 4121
WHEREAS, the City has been working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for
improvements on I-494 from Carlson Parkway to the Plymouth South Corporate Limits; and
WHEREAS, the improvements require alteration of a City watermain crossing under I-494 south of
Carlson Parkway; and
WHEREAS, a Master Utility agreement is required between the Minnesota Department of Transportation
and the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is responsible for the cost of the Utility
relocation work, other than costs for betterments, which would be paid for by the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the watermain alteration requires no betterment cost by the City of Plymouth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement
as prepared by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Agreement No. 86295, for alteration of a
watermain crossing located under I-494 south of Carlson Parkway.
