RESOLUTION NO. 2004-202
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
MET COUNCIL ENVIROMENTAL PARTNERSHIP GRANT
BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
CITY PROJECT NO. 4119E
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City's consultant, URS
Corporation, for the constriction of four raingardens as best management practices at four sites in
the City of Plymouth commercial district and said plans and specifications have been presented to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City Engineer's
office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in
The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will
be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on June 14, 2004 at which time they
will be publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center
building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable
to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
