HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2004-183CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2004-183 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT FOR THE CORNERSTONE COMMONS PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3750 LAWNDALE LANE (2004023) WHEREAS, Elim Care, Inc. has requested a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment for property legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1, Cornerstone Commons, 4"' Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for Elim Care, Inc. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Elim Care, Inc. for a PUD amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1. The proposed emergency backup generator would be consistent with the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and with the LA -4 (Living Area 4) guiding of the site. 2. The proposed emergency backup generator would not affect the purpose or intent of this PUD, which was established to provide a fiill-spectrum of senior housing choices. 3.
