DATE: November 10, 2004 for Special Council Meeting of November 16, 2004
1. DISCUSSION: The Council conducted a Study Session on November 9 for the purpose of
identifying vacancies that exist on current boards and commissions and to review
applications from residents who are interested in serving on boards and commissions. As
requested by the Council, attached is a chart that contains the list of individuals who would
be interviewed on November 16 as well the number of positions that are available on all the
boards and commissions.
2. ACTION REQUESTED: Complete the attached Resolution for adoption at a future
Council meeting.

APPOINTING INDIVIDUALS TO FILL VACANT TERMS ON
VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that the following
individuals are appointed to boards and commissions (* indicates reappointment), effective
February 1, 2005, or sooner upon resignation of the member:

Each year, the Council considers many Council Coordinating Representative
appointments. Mayor Johnson has requested that anyone interesting in serving as Deputy
Mayor (either in 2005 or beyond) contact her to let her know of your interest.
Following are the Council Coordinating Representative appointments. I have indicated
the name of the person currently serving and left blanks for 2005. Could you please
complete this to indicate your interest for 2005 and return to me by early next week. Or,
e-mail with your interest at LahrensL .ci.plymouth.mn.us I will summarize the data for
your consideration of appointments at the November 16 study session. Thanks.
