RESOLUTION NO. 2012-029
A RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH
STATE OF MINNESOTA, MATERIALS MANAGEMENT DIVISION, FOR
THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING VENTURE
WHEREAS, the City is a member and has a contract for the Cooperative Purchasing
Venture with the State of Minnesota, Materials Management Division, for the purchase of
supplies, commodities, equipment, and services through competitive bidding process or requests
for proposals; and
WHEREAS, the City annually renews this contract; and
WHEREAS, in order to streamline the process, the State is eliminating the annual
renewal requirement and allowing the agreement to extend beyond five years; and
WHEREAS, this agreement is in effect until cancelled by either party with a 30 -day
written notice,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign said
agreement.
