RESOLUTION NO. 2012-018
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
TEXT FOR PUD 91-1 (SEVEN PONDS NORTH) AMENDMENT FOR PLYMOUTH STATION,
TO ALLOW IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PLYMOUTH STATION AUTO CENTER FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 16825 COUNTY ROAD 24 (2011072)
WHEREAS, Ebert Constriction, has requested approval of a PUD (planned unit
development) amendment to allow improvements for the Plymouth Station Auto Center for the
PUD located at 16825 County Road 24, presently legally described as:
Lot 2, Block 1, Plymouth Station, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance
text.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request
by Ebert Constriction on behalf of Plymouth Station Auto Center for amendments to PUD 91-1
(Seven Ponds North) Amendment for Plymouth Station, based on the following findings:
1. The proposal is consistent with the C land use designation on the comprehensive plan land use
guide plan map.
2. The proposal would meet the purpose and intent of the PUD zoning district by providing
controlled flexibility to balance the property owner's needs and the potential impact on the
adjacent neighborhood.
