RESOLUTION No. 2013-070
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE
SECTION 21655 (2013001)
WHEREAS, InSite Architects, Inc. has requested approval of a planned unit development
amendment to allow a transitional care facility addition for the WestHealth Campus located at
3005 Campus Drive, presently legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, West Suburban Health
Campus Third Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance
text.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by
InSite Architects, Inc. for an amendment to add Section 21655.57 PUD 81-1 (Northwest
Business Campus): Amendment for WestHealth Transitional Care Facility Expansion for Lot 2,
Block 1, West Suburban Health Campus Third Addition, based on the following findings:
1. The proposal is consistent with the CO land use designation on the comprehensive plan land
use guide plan map.
2. The proposal would meet the purpose and intent of the PUD zoning district by providing high
amenity medical office buildings in a gateway location near Northwest Boulevard, State
Highway 55, and Interstate 494.
