Special Council Meeting
duly 23, 2002
A Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council was called to order by Mayor Tierney at
6:00 p.m. in the Public Safety Training Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on July 23,
2002.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Tierney, Councilmembers Hewitt, Harstad, Slavik,
Johnson, and Stein.
ABSENT: Councilmember Black.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Johnson, Assistant City Manager Ahrens, Information
Technology Manager Hohenstein, Communications Manager LaFave, Police Chief
Gerdes, Fire Chief Kline, Planning Manager Senness, and City Clerk Paulson.
Review City Internet Web Site Redesign
Information Technology Manager Hohenstein and Communications Manager LaFave
gave a presentation of the City's Internet Web Site. They indicated that the site is content
driven and has been organized by a citizen's perspective. The site would be unveiled
later this year.
The Council voiced their comments and suggestions -and thanked staff for all their-workonthisproject.
Schedule Future Study Sessions
No future study sessions were scheduled.
Councilmember Johnson suggested the Council schedule a Study Session to discuss the
City's sexual harassment and sexual orientation policies.
Councilmembers Stein, Hewitt, and Harstad stated these issues are the responsibility of
the City's Human Resources Department.

Mayor Tierney declared the meeting adjourned at 6155 p.m.
