Special Council Meeting
December 8, 2003
Mayor Johnson called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:30
p.m. in the Medicine Lake Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on December 8, 2003.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers Hewitt, Slavik, Neset, Bildsoe,
Black, and Stein.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: Human Resources Manager Sobania.
Consultant Harry Brull met with the City Council to discuss the upcoming interviews for
the City Manager position.
The City Council interviewed one candidate for the City Manager position.
The City Council discussed appointments to advisory boards and commissions.
Motion was made by Councilmember Bildsoe, second by Councilmember Neset, to direct
staff to prepare a resolution anvointing residents to boards and commissions for adoption
on December 16, to prepare amendments to the board/commission appointment policy for
consideration by the Council in the spring, and to provide the Council with a 6 -month
attendance report for all boards and commissions, including the watershed management
organizations. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
