RESOLUTION No. 2014-046
APPROVING THE FILLING OF WETLANDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
WETLAND CREDIT PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR
THE WETLAND REPLACEMENT PLAN APPLICATION FOR
DUNKIRK LANE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 13015
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is proposing to fill wetlands for improvements to Dunkirk
Lane between 54th and 59th Avenues; and
WHEREAS, a replacement plan application was prepared replacing the wetlands at a
minimum 2:1 ratio which is required by the Wetland Conservation Act; and
WHEREAS, wetland mitigation for the Dunkirk Lane Street and Utility Improvements
Project shall be in the form of wetland bank credits; and
WHEREAS, the cost of wetland credits to the City of Plymouth is $27,742.06; and
WHEREAS, the Replacement Plan meets the requirements of the Wetland Conservation Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the filling of wetlands and the Replacement Plan
Application for the Dunkirk Lane Street and Utility Improvements is hereby approved subject to the
following conditions:
1. Replacement wetlands must be constricted prior to or concurrent with wetland impacts.
2. Funding in the amount of $27,742.06 shall be from fiind 400-90-940-94000-9900.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to execute the Wetland
Replacement Plan Application and purchase agreement for wetland credits for the Dunkirk Lane
Street and Utility Improvements, City Project No. 13015.
