MARY'S DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 12026 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the St. Mary's Drainage Improvement, City Project No. 12026, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Schedule A Minnesota Dirt Works $77,971.40 New Look Contracting $82,538.80 Minger Constriction $98,802.00 G.F. Jedlicki, Inc. $100,277.00 S.M. Hentges and Sons, Inc. $106,463.00 Landwehr Constriction, Inc. $115,971.50 Veit & Companies $124,679.00 Rachel Contracting $130,941.00 Urban Companies LLC $136,980.00 Penn Contracting $215,990.00 EYgineer,v Kvti ate S154,152.50 WHEREAS, it appears that Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc. of Burnsville, MN is the lowest responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc. of Burnsville, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvements in the St. Mary's Drainage Improvement according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $77,971.40. Based on the low bid submitted by Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc., the total estimated project cost is $89,400.00, and shall be funded through the Water Resources Fund. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfiil bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
