Special Council Meeting
November 16, 2004
Mayor Johnson called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. in
the lower level conference room of Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Avenue North, on
November 16, 2004.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Johnson, Councihnembers Hewitt, Bildsoe, Stein, Black, and
Slavik.
ABSENT: Councilmember Neset.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens and City Clerk Paulson.
Board and Commission Interviews
The Council conducted interviews with residents for various vacancies on the City's board and
commissions. The Council directed staff to prepare a Resolution appointing residents to boards
and commissions for the November 23 meeting.
Council Coordinating Representatives
The Council discussed assignments of Council Coordinating Representatives on boards and
commissions and several agencies. The Council directed staff to prepare a Resolution approving
the Council Coordinating Representatives for the November 23 meeting.
The Council discussed the appointment of the Deputy Mayor for 2005, and they directed staff to
prepare a Resolution appointing Councilmember Bildsoe as Deputy Mayor for the November 23
meeting.
Setting Future Study Sessions
The Council set a Study Session on November 23 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the Financial Trend
Report and a Study Session on January 11 at 5:30 p.m. for the annual City Manager evaluation.
Adjournment
Following the quarterly update with the City Manager, the Mayor Johnson adjourned the meeting
at 9:50 p.m.
