Special Council Meeting
November 9, 2004
Mayor Johnson called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. in
the Medicine Lake Conference Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on November 9, 2004.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers Hewitt, Neset, Stein, Black, and
Slavik (arrived at 6:15 p.m.).
ABSENT: Councihnember Bildsoe.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens, Community Development Director Hurlburt, and
City Clerk Paulson.
Canvass 2004 General Election Results
City Clerk Paulson provided the local results of the 2004 General Election.
Motion was made by Councilmember Black, and seconded by Councihnember Hewitt, to adopt a
Resolution Certifying the Local Results of the November 2 General Election (Res2004-458).
With all members voting in favor, the motion carried.
Discuss Vacancies on Advisory Boards and Commissions
The Council reviewed the applications received for the various City boards and commissions and
directed staff to contact those individuals who had expressed an interest in serving on boards
where there are actual openings. These residents would be interviewed at the Council's Special
Study Session on November 16.
Adiournment
Mayor Johnson adjourned the meeting at 6:55 p.m
